Uses a drum roaster (Buckeye) which is quite small. Style should be similar to H&S.

Recommend 40 days rest. Can start at ~30 if you like ultralight flavors.

So far is consistently very light on aroma. The Rwanda Fugi Ikizere Washed and Bambito Estate Typica Washed were fairly strong in flavor, but the Bambito Estate Gesha Washed was very mild.

Shoebox’s recipe:

• v60 01, cafec abaca papers
• 12:200, 4 equal pours, medium fine grind, 92c water, the softer the better(we use 1/3 strength third wave water filter recipe)
• 1st pour/bloom: 50g in a spiral pattern, bloom 30s
• Begin each subsequent spiral 50g pour as the water column reaches 1/4" or 1cm above the bed
• Expected tbt can be anywhere from 1:50-2:45 depending on what paper filter your using/how many fines that bean in particular throws out

Have really liked the Rwanda, Eths. Gesha and Typica were nice. Have not liked the Kenyans so far.
